Care Instructions: Wipe with damp cloth to clean. Do not wash terracotta with soap, the material will absorb the taste. Not dishwasher safe.
Use Instructions: To warm terracotta insert, place terracotta slab in the oven before preheating to prevent thermal shock. Let slab gradually warm by baking at 350℉ for 10 minutes. Slab can also be submerged in hot water (not boiling) until it retains heat. Place warm slab in basket, add a liner such as a tea towel, or parchment paper. Add bread or rolls and you're ready to serve.
